We are excited to celebrate our 20th anniversary this month! We often share our top of the line technologies and training certifications but on this special anniversary I wanted to share the story of our humble beginnings to where we are today.
SRI was founded in July 1998 and by the end of our first year we outgrew our small office and purchased a double wide trailer for more work space, placing it beside my home in Wooton, Kentucky.
SRI is a family owned business built off relationships with our clients. To the left is a photo of William Meader, our second and longest standing client. William stood on our porch and hired SRI- a conversation I will never forget! 20 years later we are still friends and have a strong work relationship.
Over the next decade, our business continued to exponentially grow. We were receiving many calls for traffic collisions, criminal investigations, and digital investigations across the Commonwealth. In 2012 I purchased an abandoned 6,500 sq. ft. building and renovated it into SRI’s main office located at Wooton, KY.
During the same time calls for our services were growing in the western portion of the Commonwealth and I knew we needed to add an office in Western Kentucky to better serve our clients there. I chose Bowling Green for our second location and opened that office in 2016.
Our firm works with over 700 attorneys in the south east United States and we pride ourselves on candid conversations with our clients and the ability to prove or disprove the issues they face. Our team of licensed investigators are trained and certified in multiple disciplines within our field giving SRI capabilities that no other investigative agency has.
We constantly invest to ensure our team has the technology, training and tools necessary for any task or situation. As I understand mobility is key to providing our services in the field in 2017 I purchased a truck that is equipped to handle any situation our team of investigators may face.
I have been asked many times what I foresee as the owner of SRI. The answer is simple: We will continue to grow and provide the best and unrivaled services within our profession.
We look forward to and are planning for the next 20 years and are excited to announce that my daughter Becca Asher and her husband Blake Asher have recently joined the SRI team. With nearly 100 years of combined law enforcement and investigative experience SRI has invaluable knowledge of what people need to prove their case.
