A man came to our office a few months ago asking us to help with a situation at his business. He suspected one of his employees was scamming him on work time, in a work vehicle. We discussed his options and he opted to put a GPS tracker on the work vehicle his employee was driving. We watched for 2 week where the employee was going and without question…we found that 45 minutes every day was used to drive to a particular location. We researched the location and found that the employee was stopping to see his mother at the hospital who was dying of cancer in the ICU. Our client told the employee he could stop and see his mother and that he didn’t have to sneak.
Case closed.
