As I drive from case to case around Kentucky, I think about and reflect on where we started, our growth and the current capabilities of Stidham Reconstruction Investigation. I want to thank those who have been a part of the ride along the way and those who’ve trusted us with finding their answers. I am humble and grateful.
From a one room trailer 20 years ago to unprecedented capabilities nationally, SRI was formed to fill in the gaps I witnessed as a member of the Kentucky State Police. I was not sure if the business would succeed, but I did know there was more work for each investigation that did not get completed due to the lack of police training, resources, time and personnel. Over the years, my team and I have stayed true to SRI’s core principle: helping people every single day.
The answers our team find may not always be what our clients want to hear, but with empowering information, the right decisions can be made for them and their case.
The SRI team is amazing and highly qualified. My support staff has not only grown by leaps and bounds but also has expanded their technological capabilities and expertise. On a state and national level, our tools, training and technology are unprecedented. Our laboratory is able to analyze digital and forensic evidence, crime scene evidence, shooting and ballistic evidence.
Our crime scene investigator, Shelley Rice is one of the only investigators who has been to the Institute of Police Technologies Management and rates as proficient in crime scene investigation by IPTM. By any standard, Shelly is the true life CSI. Additionally, our team has helped acquire dismissals for five different individuals that were facing the death penalty due to improperly interpreted evidence or out right lack of evidence. These cases were dismissed at the prosecutors request to the court.
Our laboratory facility and high level of training are two of the reasons we are able to find the answers that others may not. We continuously invest in the best technology for digital and forensic evidence and are able to test on site with a variety of different techniques.
THANK YOU to everyone who has helped us get to this point after 20 years, I sincerely thank you. We are motivated and blessed to help our clients find justice. My daughter and son-in-law have recently begun training and look forward to continuing the tradition into the next 20 years. It’s crazy to think that from our one room trailer, we grew to what we have today!
