SRI was hired by a young man charged with murder in a traffic collision. The charge was that he ran off a snow covered road and struck a pedestrian. The prosecutions case hinged on an eyewitness. When we interviewed this eye witness he told us that he was sitting in his chair when he heard the wreck occur and “he ran to the window” to see the traffic collision and the kid running into the pedestrian. While we were interviewing the 80 year old man his walker was setting beside his chair. When this evidence was presented to the prosecutor the case was resolved.
