SRI was recently retained in a vehicular homicide collision where a young man was traveling down the road with the right of way. Another person pulled form a local business in front of him. The KSP reconstructed the traffic collision stating that the person pulling form the store could not have stopped at the stop sign because of the speed she was traveling at the time of impact. SRI had acquired a video from the local business that in fact showed the person did stop prior to pulling onto the roadway and sat stopped for a period of approximately 11 seconds prior to pulling into our clients path. The KSP traffic reconstructionists summarily changed their opinions in light of the video evidence and the case was resolved without a trial. Case closed.
