SRI was hired in a domestic case where one spouse was suspected of cheating. Our client had previously taken their computer and phone to a forensic computer company and they didn’t find anything that would show infidelity. We asked our client to get the phone and computer so our digital investigator could examine the devices. When our staff gained access to the devices he immediately realized that the devices had been reformatted and the data had been erased. Because of our digital forensic investigator’s training and experience we were able to recover over 50,000 files including emails, pictures, gps locations, and voicemail. Our client and their attorney were amazed with the amount of incriminating information that SRI was able to recover.
