Monday and Tuesday Shelly and I were in Erlanger KY speaking and sharing our experience and knowledge with the Kentucky Department of Public Advocacy. We would like to sincerely thank the Department of Public Advocacy and our colleagues for extending this opportunity and honor to us. During our training sessions we had the DPA investigators demonstrate and fingerprint various materials and let them use an alternative light source. They leaned to how to use luminol in a crime scene setting and we discussed event data recorders in a traffic collision setting. We also performed skid test, acceleration tests and their investigators learned how to perform basic speed, time and distance calculations. We are very proud of our colleagues that work for the Department of Public Advocacy.
During their banquet, we learned their motto: “We are always there” for their clients which is a very fitting motto for the Department of Public Advocacy.
